Hamburgs most visited and favourite spot in the city is the harbour. There is so much to do, see and discover while being in town. An early morning at the Fishmarket, a trip on the boat to get a glimpse of the Elbphilharmonie or walking around the Hafencity, there are plenty of options to fill the schedule for the day. But don´t forget to also sleep super!

Rent a bike or grab a longboard to get tot he harbour as quick as possible. Already the way tot he port is nice and offeres much to see. Also the Underground line 3 will take you tot he port. Fun fact, the U3 is mainly overground and actually a good option to sightsee. Get out Baumwall or Landungsbrücken tob e right where you need to be.

One thing is for sure, you do not have to be at a hotel right next to the port because after all the routes around the harbour and the districts that lead to the port should be explored.

Tips from the Hotel to the Hamburger Harbour

A special experience ist o change perpectives. How we mean that? Well, there isn´t only one way to get a good glimpse around. If you walk through the old Elbe tunnle you get out and are right next to the harbour cranes and see the city and ist beauty.

Another way to see all facettes of the harbour is by taking the ferry (with your normal public transport ticket). The Line 63 takes you through the port and if you get off at the Dockland, you can walk up this building to get another stunning view.

Whoever prefers to buy a ticket for one oft he small boats running throug the waterways gets a nice tour around the Speicherstadt and the beautiful storehouses.
