Die Superbude Wien Prater liegt im geschichtsträchtigen Stuwerviertel, einem Grätzl voller Charakter und spannender Geschichten.

Früher ein Rotlichtviertel mit verruchten Beisln und urigen Kneipen, heute ein bunter Mix aus Kreativszene, alternativen Cafés, neuen Shops und langjährigen Nachbarn. Noch immer erzählen Anwohner kuriose Geschichten aus alten Zeiten.

Auch Johann Georg Stuwer, Feuerwerkskünstler des 18. Jahrhunderts und Namensgeber des Viertels, war hier aktiv. Genau an diesem Ort startete 1784 die erste bemannte Ballonfahrt Österreichs – zwar unfreiwillig, aber erfolgreich.

Das Viertel hat seitdem eine beeindruckende Transformation durchlaufen – und ist noch lange nicht fertig damit.

Of course! The rooftop restaurant’s ambience is beautiful (with outdoor seating!). Breakfast
costs 14 € and consists of delicious bread, fruits, yoghurts, as well as warm meals from the
NENI kitchen with its Israeli-oriental touch

How much does an overnight stay in the Superbude cost?

A double room starts at 79 € per night and can also be booked for one person. The prices

Where is the Superbude located?

In the middle of Prater and still right in the city is the Superbude Vienna Prater. Located next
to the U2 Messe-Prater, the hotel is the perfect starting point for your city trip or your
business trip. It takes 2 minutes to walk to Messe and less than a minute to get to
Wurstelprater. The second district, in which the Superbude resides, is exciting!

What can be found in the Superbude’s surroundings?

The Wurstelprater invites you to can shooting, ghost trains, and carrusel rides. The
Schweizer Haus (Swiss house) is perfect for spending time over beers. Afterwards, take a
ride on Vienna’s Ferris wheel and enjoy the great view of the city.

restaurant & bar. Iaraeli street food is on the menu as well as really good drinks, which can
be enjoyed while appreciating the best view of the Wurstelprater
