Liliputbahn

The Lilliputbahn in the Prater is a small train that rides through the green Prater. By the way, the train got its name from the great novel Gulliver's Travels. Jonathan Swift describes the Lilliputians as little creatures who live by their own rules. This can be quite well applied to the Lilliputian train, because such a small train in the park is not too common. During the ride through the green Prater you get the idea of how big and versatile it is. First you chug along the main avenue until the tracks lead into the woods of the Prater and you're surrounded by trees. If you want to combine the ride on the Lilliputbahn with a walk, it's best to take only half the route and walk back the rest. However, if you don't want to do that, don't get off the train too soon and rather do the whole round.
