Klütjenfelder Hauptdeich
6,6 km bis St. Pauli
In reality, the Klütjenfeld main dyke serves to protect more than 50,000 Hamburg citizens south of the Elbe from storm surges. But that doesn't have to mean that you can't hang out here wonderfully. Over a length of a proud 2.5 kilometres, the dyke offers plenty of space to enjoy the rushing of the Elbe and the sun over the city. The right drinks are available a few hundred metres south on the Veddel or in Wilhelmsburg.
