Welcome to our super centrally located hotel in Vienna. With 178 rooms that we lovingly call “Buden”, every visit here is like a rollercoaster ride. Not only because the Wurstelprater’s rollercoaster zooms past our front door, but also because the whole hotel picks up the incredibly exciting history of the second district and reinterprets it. For instance, the theme of aviation is newly interpreted in memory of Johann Georg Stuwer, the namesake of the (Stuwer)neighborhood. He let the first balloon rise right where the Superbude is today. We don’t want to forget that - it must have been a spectacle! Will you also have a seat in the hot air balloon’s basket? Or will you let the ventilator wall catapult your thoughts into the air?
Not only have we let aviation inspire us, we’ve also had many neighbors move in, because the most exciting tales and the best pointers are always told by the locals, right? Maybe an overnight stay in the SUPERSENSE Suite is the right thing or maybe the FM4 Radio Room? Our Double Room Cube is less adorned but just as good, featuring an integrated desk perfect for all business travellers.

Unser Hotel liegt im 2. Bezirk (Leopoldstadt) – direkt neben dem Zentrum.

Where is the Superbude located?
As stated above, the Superbude Prater in Vienna is located in the 2. district right next to the metro station Messe in a quiet location and central location. The exciting Stuwerviertel on the one side and the green Prater and Wurstelprater on the other side of the centrally located hotel. It’s only 2 minutes by foot to the fantastically located U2 (in the direction of Karlsplatz, Oper, inner city) from the new Superbude Vienna Prater. Located right at the famous Viennese Prater, the Superbude offers a great starting point for your stay in Vienna. That way you’ll reach the city centre in 10 minutes while residing in a hotel with a view of nature.
Where is the Superbude located?
The Superbude Prater is located in the Perspektivstraße 8 (1020). Between the Stuwerviertel and the Wurstelprater, right around the corner from the Messe, the campus, and the giant green Prater with the Donaukanal as well as Vienna’s city centre.
How far is it to the city centre?
It doesn’t take longer than 10 minutes to get to the city centre and Vienna’s old town. Whether by bike or by the nearby metro, it doesn’t take long to reach the centre.
How much does an overnight stay in the Superbude cost?
Overnight stays start at 79€ for a double room for two people. By the way, we lovingly call our double rooms “Doppelbuden”. Our 18 different categories of rooms won’t make deciding easy, but rest assured, every room is SUPER!
In which district is the hotel located?
The Superbude is located right in the 2. district, next to which is the 1. district, the 3. district, and the 9. district. Don’t underestimate the size of the green Prater that begins right in front of the hotel.
How far away is the centre (1. district)?
The centre of Vienna is easily reachable with the U2 (2 minutes by foot from the hotel - station Messe-Prater). In max. 5-10 minutes you can reach various parts of the 1. district (Karlsplatz, Schottentor). The U2 follows the western section of the Ring - no matter which station you get off at, it’s perfect for exploring the 1. district.
