Located close to the lively district of Ottensen, Superbude Altona offers short distances to culture, creative scenes, shopping and the Elbe river. Altona’s long‑distance train station is easily accessible, as are charming cafés, boutiques, bars and the Elbe beach. Thanks to excellent transport connections, both nearby activities and explorations across the entire city of Hamburg can be planned with ease.
With 126 rooms in various sizes, Superbude Altona is perfectly set up for groups. From compact retreats to spacious rooms with plenty of space for arriving and settling in together, the hotel offers flexible overnight options. This is complemented by communal areas, a rooftop terrace, a second‑hand shop and an atmosphere that intentionally encourages lightness and creativity.
A special highlight for group trips with a content‑driven focus are the two meeting rooms at Superbude Altona. Colourful in design yet fully functional, they are ideal for workshops, seminars, meetings or creative sessions. Catering is taken care of by the in‑house restaurant Bamboole, which provides on‑site dining options and makes group stays even easier to organise.

Can a larger group stay together at one place?
8Absolutely! Superbude Altona has 126 rooms waiting for you. Of course, we’ll need to check availability in advance – but we’ll take care of all of that for you once your enquiry has been submitted.
Are there fixed group contingents or exclusive booking options?
No, we don’t work with fixed group contingents. Instead, we review every group request individually – depending on travel period, group size and availability at the property.
If you wish, we can place rooms for your group on a non‑binding option. This means we’ll hold the selected rooms exclusively for you for an agreed period of time, so you can plan at ease and make your final decision.
Are there special group rates or packages?
Yes! For groups staying at Superbude St. Pauli, we offer attractive group rates per person per night, including breakfast. Prices depend on the selected room category:
- From €74 per person per night in a single room, including breakfast
- From €45 per person per night in a double room, including breakfast
- These offers are valid from Sunday to Thursday until 31 March 2027.
In addition, we can offer dinner for groups at Bamboole. Ideally, please coordinate this with us in advance so we can reserve a table for your group.
For individual requests, different group sizes or special occasions, we’re happy to advise you personally.
How can we pay?
For private and school groups, we keep things easy:
After the booking confirmation, we ask for a 50% deposit of the total amount. The remaining balance can then be paid either on site or by invoice after departure. This way, everything is safely planned and you can fully focus on enjoying your time together in Hamburg.
Can individual expenses be settled on site (e.g. drinks, extras)?
Yes, absolutely! Drinks and extras can be settled individually and easily on site. This keeps things flexible, and everyone pays exactly for what they’ve consumed.
Are there accessible or barrier‑free rooms?
Short answer: not completely barrier‑free, but barrier‑friendly.
Our ground floor is step‑free and easy to access. The public restroom on the ground floor is also equipped to be accessible.
There are parking spaces directly in front of the building, keeping the distance nice and short.
Our rooms are not fully barrier‑free. However, we do offer barrier‑friendly double rooms that can work well for guests using a wheelchair. In these rooms, the washbasin is designed to be wheelchair‑accessible.
Please note: The showers have a step and are therefore not wheelchair‑accessible.

Are there quiet hours or house rules for groups?
Respect (y)our neighbours! Quiet hours start at 10:00 pm. If you’re not ready to sleep yet, you’re welcome to stay in the living room or at Bamboole, or enjoy drinks at the bar – we just kindly ask all groups to be considerate of other guests and our neighbours.
How many people count as a group booking?
From 10 rooms or 13 people!
Is the accommodation suitable for different age groups?

How does the group enquiry process work?

What are the cancellation and modification terms for groups?
Our cancellation and modification terms depend on the size of your group and the booked travel period. To ensure everything is fair and tailored to your needs, we discuss the details individually and clearly outline them in your offer. That way, you know exactly what to expect and can plan your stay with peace of mind.
Do you have multi-bed rooms?
Yes, we offer rooms for 1 to 4 people – from single rooms to multi‑bed rooms, everything is available.
Are there spaces where groups can meet exclusively?
Yes! For meetings, workshops or shared sessions, you can book our meeting rooms exclusively. In addition, our public living room areas are available to you – perfect for getting together, exchanging ideas and hanging out in a relaxed atmosphere.
Is breakfast included for groups?
Yes! When you book one of our special group offers, breakfast is automatically included.
Can special dietary requirements be accommodated?
Absolutely! There’s something for everyone at breakfast – whether vegan, gluten‑free or with other dietary needs. If you book dinner with us or decide to dine spontaneously at the restaurant, we’ll of course also take special dietary requirements into account and work together to create something delicious and suitable for your group.
How are check‑in and check‑out processes handled for groups?
To ensure everything runs smoothly on site, we clarify all key details with you before arrival via our reservations team. This includes arrival and departure times, breakfast times, and a name list for your group.
Upon arrival, only a group registration form needs to be signed – and you’re good to go.
If you arrive early or still have time in the city on departure day, you’re welcome to store your luggage with us.
